Apple Harvest

Henry meeting his cousin Jess and getting ready for his first apple festival.

Jess and Adam reading to Sophia. On the way to the cabin Sophia said, "I can't wait to see my cousins!"

Henry's ready!

Apple harvest here we come!

There were lots of pumpkins.

My littlest pumpkin.

Time for some cold, refreshing apple cider. Thanks, Pop!

Picking our apples.

After some shopping, taking pictures, apple picking, and apple butter doughnut tasting we headed back to the cabin to rest and eat some yummy chicken chili....and love on baby Henry!

Daddy's here! Raph was able to join us after he finished teaching his classes for the day.

Sophia modeling her new, all-in-one, tiger hat, scarf, and mittens for Daddy. Thanks, Grammy Gram!

Ready to head back to the festival for more fun.

Sophia loved climbing on the hay...

dancing to the blue grass music...

and throwing rocks into the creek.

Grammy giving Sophia a piggy back ride back to the cabin.

Henry and Evelyn, just eight days a part, the youngest ones at the cabin this year.

Having fun on the porch.

This girl had a blast and she slept all the way home...

Going to the Graves' Mountain Lodge Apple Harvest has become my favorite fall tradition. We love visiting with our cousins at the cabin and walking over to the festival to take in the activities and taste all the yummy apple treats. The weather was perfect and we all had so much fun! We are already looking forward to next year!
