New year, new adventures...

Our girl is ready for her Preschool Open House and first dance class of the year!
We have a bun...almost.
First stop: Orange Presbyterian Weekday School to see Sophia's new school.
Posing with Mrs. Ski.
Getting the tour...
Henry had no problem exploring the classrooms!

Next stop: Dance class with Mrs. Pam.
Best buddies sitting so nicely in class.
Sweet girls!

Summer is almost over and we are ready for Fall and all the new things that come with the season. This year there are many adventures awaiting the Sydnors with Sophia starting a new school, Henry bounding into toddler-hood, Raph starting year seven at WFS, and me going back to work. We have found a great part-time nanny to help us and after almost three weeks of me in my new role things are going well. Exciting times are ahead for all of us...

Look who's back!

Raph surprised us Wednesday night by driving straight home after his classes finished in Vermont. We weren't expecting him home until late Thursday afternoon. I love a good surprise and it is great having him back home! Thanks, G and P for watching our babes so we could dress up and enjoy a date night!

Animal Kingdom. Disney Post # 4

On Tuesday morning we had breakfast with some of the Disney characters. Sophia was so excited to see Cinderella again!
Girl talk...
Meeting Goofy...
Henry was excited to meet Goofy too!
Sophia was not too sure about Buzz Light Year. She decided that Henry would enjoy meeting him though. She was right! Henry walked right to him!
He would have hung out with Buzz all day!
But then Henry caught a glimpse of Cinderella...it was love at first sight.
Look at that face. Oh my...
One happy boy.
After breakfast, we ventured to Animal Kingdom. There was so much to see!
Sophia was excited to meet Pocahontas.
These two talked and talked. Here they are calling Pocahontas' hummingbird...
It's Minnie!
Henry was dancing to the music.
Guitar Dan wandered by and stopped to sing a song about Sophia and Henry.  It was great!
Time for a Safari ride!
We saw so many animals including giraffes. Sophia was so excited!
My favorite was the baby rhino. Precious.
After the safari.
Time to shop! Giraffe ears, a safari Mickey, and two rubber snakes. All set!
Sophia started talking to one of the gift shop employees and he let her pick a pin. She chose Cinderella.
By this time we were all starving and so excited for lunch at the Rainforest Cafe!
We're excited!
We surprised Sophia with a volcano dessert. Love the face!

Then we headed back to the hotel to rest up. After nice long naps, Henry's having fun in the room before the festivities begin.
All dressed and ready for an evening in Epcot. We attended a mixer, saw fireworks, and had an ice cream social all sponsored by Southern States.
On the ferry...
Sophia decided that we were at the Ball!
Ice Cream time!
Sophia decided her outfit was missing some long, white gloves. G and P (and the Disney gift shop) fixed Princess Sophia right up!
Don't all princesses sleep in their gloves?
