Dinner at Granny's

Christmas morning began very early at Mom and Dad's house. We had a great time opening presents and getting the day started with Mom and Dad. Raph and I loved all of our Christmas goodies especially our new TV! Sophia slept through her first Christmas morning but she had a good time playing with all of her toys later Christmas afternoon after a wonderful breakfast at Granddaddy's house. The day concluded with a dinner at Granny Herndon's.

Sophia is a month old!

Sophia is a month old and she is amazing. We spend most of our time staring at her and wondering what we did with ourselves before she arrived. Sophia is beginning to sleep more at night and has even given us a few smiles!

Annie and Kate came to visit their new niece today. We had a great day being together and we even took Sophia for her first stroller ride.

Sophia is a week old!

It's hard to believe that Sophia's already a week old. She is such a joy! Grammy Gram stayed with us all week and helped us get adjusted to having a new little one at home. Sophia also went to the doctor for her first check up. She gained 6 oz. is almost back up to her birth weight of 8.1 oz.

We had lots of visitors during our stay at Martha Jefferson. It was a wonderful experience and we are such proud parents! We can't wait for everyone to meet Sophia!

Sophia Caroline Herndon Sydnor is born November 10th, 2008. She weighed 8.1 lbs and was 20.25 inches long.
