We had a great time attending Sophia's Parents' Night at dance last week. Sophia had quite the fan club in attendance including Grammy, Pop, and Arlene. It was fun watching our girl dance and to see how Sophia and her buddies have grown up so much. Looking forward to the recital in May!
I had so much fun in NYC with my best friends last weekend and it felt great to reconnect with my soul sisters! While I was away, Sophia got to spend the night in Rhoadesville with Grammy and Pop while Daddy and Henry had some guy time. When I got home Sunday night I couldn't believe how much older Sophia and Henry looked. It's amazing how they really do grow up overnight! Thank you to my supportive family for giving this mama a weekend away. As much as I appreciated being on vacation there's really no place like home --
Happy eight months, sweet boy!
This has been a very busy month for Henry! Everyday he seems to be able to do something new including signing "more", nodding his head "no", standing in his crib, and clapping. Henry is so close to crawling. He gets on all fours and I'm sure he will be taking off in no time. Our boy is really the sweetest, laid back baby. This past weekend I spent my first nights away from him and he did great with Daddy. Thank you, Grammy and Pop for helping too! I had a wonderful weekend in NYC with my best friends and it felt great to get reports from home that my boy was doing so well. Can't wait to see what our Henry will do this month...maybe finally get that first tooth?

We enjoyed a visit to Lynchburg to see Tpa and many members of the Sydnor family. Thanks, Aunt Joan for the fun get together and yummy food and cake!
