little turkey
My little kitchen assistant.
We had a quiet Thanksgiving morning at the Sydnor house. We watched the parade, played, Henry napped, and Sophia and I did some baking.

Then it was off to my Great-Aunt Bett's house for our first Thanksgiving meal.

Sophia is ready!
Love these two!
After the very tasty meal, my cousin Troy was very nice to play outside with Sophia. Sophia really enjoyed being with Troy and told me that the hammock was just for little kids...like Troy. ;)
Getting a squeeze from cousin Kate.
Tryptophan?
After Bett's we ran home to get freshened up and then it was off to my cousin Sarah's house for our 2nd Thanksgiving meal.

What we are most thankful for...our two little turkeys at the end of a very fun, busy Thanksgiving Day.
And, the fun continues! I was so excited to see my best friends Friday night. I haven't had these two in the same room since Annie's wedding! We had a great evening at The Light Well hearing Jesse play but I do hope our next visit will be a little longer. Are we still thinking St. Patrick's Day, ladies?!
My other parents. We missed Mom and Dad who were kind enough to watch Sophia and Henry so we could go out. Thanks, G and P!
The talented Jesse Harper.
It's a tradition to put up our tree over the Thanksgiving break and we got ours up in a record time thanks to Grammy, DD, and a certain little helper!
Sophia admiring the tree.
Henry trying out his Christmas pjs.
Thanksgiving festivities concluded with a trip to Lynchburg. Sophia giving Tpa a belated 91st birthday hug!

Sweet cousins. These two had so much fun playing together.

It was a wonderful Thanksgiving break getting to see many family and friends. We have so much to be thankful for...
