Our Halloween

It was a super busy Halloween weekend for the Sydnors. School plays and parties galore! Our Princess (and Flamenco Dancer), Knight, and tiny Dragon really took in the festivities. Here is a glimpse of the fun...
Sophia performed in her class play, Pumpkin Patch Palooza, the Thursday before Halloween. It was adorable and I am still smiling thinking about it!
 Our pumpkin...
 Five little pumpkins...
 Sophia's sweet Kindergarten class.
Posing with Mrs. Herndon (aka Grammy).
After the performance, I was able to attend Henry's preschool Halloween party. Love this boy!
Waiting for the games to begin...
Henry and some other brave knights...
After a little rest time at home (and work for me), Henry and I enjoyed Toddler Trick-or-Treating at WFS. Such a fun time for the youngest members of the community.
Henry with his buddies. Tinkerbell, Aurora, and Elsa.
 He's ready!
 Sweet kiddos.
Getting a squeeze from Diane Grymes.
The knights invaded the Development office. :)

Our annual Halloween picture with the ladies of the Student Store.

We finished up trick-or-treating and this mama was off to teach dance for the rest of the evening....

The next day was Halloween and I got to see Sophia take part in the parade all the festivities at Grymes.

Sophia got 3rd place for decorating a "sweet" pumpkin.

Having fun at the party...

Such a fun celebration with Mrs. Herndon and class!

Later that evening we kept the festivities alive with the WFS Children's Halloween Party. Great costumes!
Grammy and Pop stopped by to give me hand with the children because Raph was performing in Romeo and Juliet. Everette was so happy to nap on his Grammy.
 Henry loved his new teeth!
The next day was Grandparent's Day at WFS and the final performance of Romeo and Juliet. So happy that Aunt Tamie, Jody, and Aunt Jo Jo were able to see the show and visit.
Enjoying a little down time with this sweet boy.

Fall Fun

Ready to head to Graves' Mountain for the Apple Festival and to visit family at the cabin. One of our favorite weekends of the year!
Getting to meet our baby cousin, Luke Everette Herndon. Such a cute little bundle! Excited that Everette and Luke are so close in age.
 Fun with cousins.
 Baby Everette with Great-Uncle Everette.
 Hugs for Granny Herndon.
 Off to the festival...
Thanks Pop and Grammy for the pony rides!
After visiting at the cabin we headed to the Sedwick's home for a fun evening of fall celebrations. Such a fun night for the kids and the adults! Check out the handsome boys -- all named Henry!
 Ready for a hay ride!
Everette getting some snuggles from Jennifer Von Reuter (of Channel 29 news!)
The evening concluded with s'mores around the fire pit.
 Yum!
The next week I had the pleasure of going to Sarah's Pumpkin Patch with my big boy and his class from preschool.
Henry talking with the owner of the pumpkin patch, Sarah.
Good buddies, Connor and Henry, checking out the tractors.
 Henry and his buddy, Lorenzo.
We arrived in the patch and Henry picked up the first pumpkin he saw and waited for everyone else to find theirs. This boy has no problem making a decision.
 Cute froggy boots...
Snack time...

Happy 6 months, Everette James!

I have spent a lot of time today reflecting on the past 6 months since our Everette James was born. It has not always been easy going from two to three children but I am so grateful to have this sweet soul in our lives. Everette is laid back and so happy -- his smile is contagious! Sophia and Henry are Everette's favorite entertainment. He could watch them all day and even when they hug him a little too tight he smiles and thinks they are amazing.

Happy 1/2 birthday sweet boy!
