December happenings...

The tradition of baking gingerbread men with Grammy continues! Thanks to Grammy and Pop for watching and entertaining S and H so Raph and I could celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary!
Hard at work!
The bearded lady is my favorite --
Henry got in on the action this year!
Watching and waiting...
Sophia's special cookie.
Heading to church in Christmas clothes...
A rite of passage - riding in the back of a pick-up truck in the Orange Christmas parade! Sophia had a great time riding with her buddies from preschool.
It was a family affair! Henry and I got to ride as well. Daddy walked behind with some other parents.
Off to see Santa at The Residence with our buddies, Tommy and Peyton.
Listening to the story...
Santa has arrived!
Brave children posing with Santa.
Later that night, Sophia and I saw The Nutcracker at The State Theater.
Posing with our all time favorite ballerina, Cordelia Hogan, after the show.

These are just a few glimpses of our busy December. Looking forward to a lot of excitement next week!

Fun with the Aunties...

I am so behind in my blog updates but here are some pictures from our afternoon visiting with Kate and Annie and their families. Sophia and Henry were so excited to meet Carrie-Annie for the first time! Love these folks more than words can say --

Henry was super excited about Mrs. Melton's pumpkin cheesecake cupcakes!

Baking with Great Granny Herndon

The day before Thanksgiving we had a fun afternoon at Granny Herndon's. Sophia and Henry baked snickerdoodles and enjoyed every last sugary minute of it! Many thanks to Granny for teaching my babes how to have fun in the kitchen!
